Live games in chat

Head-to-head games played inside a conversation, where the server keeps the order and the rules stay on the devices.

Open the games button in a direct message or a group chat and start a match. Everyone plays in the conversation itself rather than leaving for a separate screen.

The games

Memory
Turn two cards. Keep the pair, keep the turn.
Boxes
Claim a line between two dots. Close a box, go again.

Who can play

Live games need Sapphire on every seat, not just the host's. What the host's plan decides is the size of the table: Sapphire opens a two-player duel, and Pro and Ultra both seat four.

How a match runs

A match is open until the table fills, then active, then finished. Turns are driven by the moves themselves rather than by a clock, so a slow connection falls behind rather than desyncing, and anyone in the conversation can watch a match they are not seated in.

Moves are deliberately not end-to-end encrypted. The server has to own who moved and in what order for a shared board to exist at all. It never owns the rules: a match is a seed, a party size and a log of moves, and no board is ever stored. Your messages in the same conversation stay encrypted exactly as before.
