Payouts
Payouts run through a regulated payment processor and are available in the United States at launch.
Money you earn goes to an account in your own name held with our payment processor. Surf never holds your bank details.
Setting it up
- Open Monetization, then Payouts.
- Create your payout account and complete the processor's identity and bank details.
- Wait for verification. Earnings accrue in the meantime.
- Payouts then run automatically on the processor's schedule.
Payout accounts are United States only at launch. You can use every other part of Surf from anywhere; this specific rail is the one with the geographic limit.
Tax
You are being paid by the processor as an independent party. Tax reporting is handled through it and is your responsibility, not Surf's.
If you cancel Sapphire Pro
Existing fan subscriptions keep running and paying out. What you lose is the ability to create new tiers and accept new brand deals.
