Your data
See what you have done, export a copy, deactivate temporarily, or delete permanently.
Your activity
Settings, then Activity, is a record of what you have done on Surf, split into likes, comments, follows and searches. It is your own history rather than an analytics report, and it is the fastest way to find something you interacted with but did not save.
Search history lives here too, which means this is also where you can see what your searches have been. Posts you deliberately saved are in Bookmarks, and what Surf can recall on your behalf is described at Memory.
Download your data
Settings, then Account, then Download Your Data. You get an export of your account content. Preparing it takes a little time and you are notified when it is ready.
Deactivate
Deactivating hides your account: your profile and posts stop being visible, and signing back in restores them. It is reversible on purpose.
Delete
Deleting removes your account and its data permanently. It is not reversible. Cancel any active subscription first, so you are not paying for an account that no longer exists.
Privacy requests
Requests that need a person, including data access and erasure requests made under a privacy law, go through Report a problem.
