Feed controls

Four presets, ten sliders, and up to twelve standing rules written in plain English.

Everything here lives in Settings, then Feed. Changes apply to the next refresh; nothing needs saving separately.

Presets

Four presets move every slider at once and are the fastest way to get close.

Feed rules

Rules are standing instructions in plain language, such as "less politics" or "more from people i know". You can keep up to twelve at a time, each up to 120 characters. Every rule is listed, and each can be switched off without deleting it.

Rules are standing, not one-off. They apply to every refresh until you remove or disable them, and they sit on top of the manual slider values rather than replacing them.

Auto-tune

Feed Auto-Tune, in Settings, then Surf Vision, lets the feed learn from what you actually read and watch rather than only from what you tapped. It is a toggle, it can be turned off, and anything you set by hand outranks it.

Starting over

Reset Algorithm, at the bottom of the advanced settings, clears your personalization data and returns the feed to its defaults.
